Every Vogt western jewelry design begins as a simple sheet of .925 sterling silver and is transformed into an heirloom quality, artistic accessory. The base form is hand engraved with its unique yet traditional pattern and with great precision each element or figure of the piece is hand-cut and applied to the base. Stones are mounted in their bezel, findings attached, edges smoothed and the VOGT trademark applied. The western jewelry collections offered by Vogt Silversmiths includes a representation of Western iconic, 3-dimensional figures including the “lucky horseshoe”, crosses, stars, longhorns, bronc riders and the oxbow stirrup – just to mention a few. The figures or elements of these designs are created in sterling silver or 14k gold fill and accented with gold braiding, silver and gold hand twisted rope edges, genuine stones and beadwork.
