 1. Draw your design

• Download Vogt's My Custom Template (view sample here) and sketch the size, shape, and basic design outline. Your custom design can be as creative as your imagination. If you can draw it, we can build it.
• We recommend using a grid when drawing. Please label desired height and width, even if you draw to size.
• Please specify if you would like your piece to be antique finish or bright polish. If antique, please specify between light antiqued, dark antique, or oxidized (black).
• If you are including a brand, monogram, or insignia, please draw or send a photo. Please note that it will be reproduced on your customized piece EXACTLY as you send it.
• If you wish to customize a specific product, please include the item name in your email and make note of your customization.
• Gold fill rope edge not available for buckles.

 2. Select materials – List your materials and specific instructions.

• Karat: Karat number denotes percentage of gold-to-alloy material. For example, “14 karat” means 14 parts gold in 24 total parts. The balance is an alloy material which gives the gold its unique coloring.

• Materials Available: 

• Sterling silver: An alloy of 92.5% fine silver, 7.5% copper.

• Karat gold: Choose from 14 or 18 karat in yellow, green, or rose colors.

• Gold fill: By marrying a layer of karat gold to a non-precious back, we have a layer of solid karat gold to work with. The 1/10 14 karat gold is 10% gold by thickness.

 3. Email us your sketch and build description. 

• Send your sketch with your material choices and measurement description along with any photos to customs@vogtsilversmiths.com. After we receive your email, we will contact you as soon as possible with a quote.
